Known as the "female ginseng," Dong Quai is the most important herb in TCM for blood nourishment. It tonifies blood, promotes circulation, regulates the menstrual cycle, and supports postpartum recovery. Its name literally means "to return to proper order" — referring to its ability to restore blood to where it belongs.
